Mostly cloudy and a bit milder

Miami Valley , Whitewater Valley, and the I-71 corridor of Ohio/Indiana:

Synopsis,
A drastic change is in store for the weekend. A series of very strong lows for this time of year will bring very strong storms and heavy rains to the region mainly late Saturday night and Sunday. A very strong upper level jet of 100 to 120 mph winds aloft will move in over a low level jet at 50 mph that will eject very warm and very humid conditions in. This will make for an area of enhanced storms that could produce very strong damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes. Current thinking is that a few isolated storms could be possible Saturday with a warm front that will eject very warm and humid air Northward. Saturday night the warm front will serve as a focal point for a complex of strong damaging wind storms with flooding rains developing by midnight and lasting through dawn. By midday Sunday a brief period of sun could lead to broken supercell type storms that could be capable of isolated tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail and heavy rain once again. Stay tuned on this potentially dangerous spring like storm system.

Long range:
Behind this front Monday we can expect very cool air to move in from Canada causing a cool and showery day. By midweek more sunny and pleasant weather returns.

The following is the seven day forecast for the Dayton metro area and a 50 mile radius around it. Other metro areas like Columbus, Cincinnati, and Portsmouth are not included. For those areas please request a separate
