It’s virtually impossible to determine which songs are the most popular karaoke songs. A thorough search of the internet will bring up blogs from various people offering their opinion or lists compiled by individuals or companies with their own agenda. Many are very critical of the songs that are sung most often because they’re tired of hearing the “same old songs”.

The
top 10 lists vary across the country, around the world and from year to year, but without someone actually tallying up the number of times songs are performed at karaoke shows, the results cannot be very accurate. Some KJs have karaoke software that stores the history for each singer which allows them to quickly retrieve a song during a show for their regular performers and to see which songs are sung most often. This software also indicates the dates and times and all other variables for all the songs in every performer’s history, but there isn’t a link to a main database for all this information to be stored and tabulated.
As a result, any list of
most popular karaoke songs will be based on the limited data anyone can obtain or simply their own opinion. Another aspect of this issue is whether the most popular songs are the songs that will be welcomed at a karaoke show, or are songs that no one really wants to hear anymore. Choosing to sing any of the most popular songs could bring a
negative result at one karaoke show or a roar of approval at another, so choose carefully.
This is a list of 50 of the most popular karaoke songs.

I've been practicing a few of those hits on the karaoke channel online. Thanks for the list though, I had forgotten how great it was to sing Wannabe, or At Last.
Having song histories is another greatway to see how many of the same songs are heard. This list gives a good representation of songs sung already. Thanks for the informative article.
