Moschino is known globally for pushing the envelope, defying the timeless and classic bounds of fashion and for their embracing of everything that is bold and ultra daring. Moschino's newest creative director, Jeremy Scott, is taking the reins of his role quite comfortably with the popular brand as the newest Pre-Fall handbag collection sports the notorious Moschino label adorned on handbags that are shaped like jackets.

Photos of the Pre-Fall handbag collection were being dropped one by one on Scott's social media Instagram account on January 7, 2014. Fashion enthusiasts were in an uproar over the innovative and unique designs of the designer handbags. Whether these handbags are functional and for the "every day" diva, only time will tell--but for now, the method in which Scott showcased the odd yet intriguing collection of handbags was everything genius and quickly went viral.

From moto jacket inspired bags to quilted blazer bags to a Chanel-esque quilted chained handbag--the Moschino Pre-Fall collection and its artistically creative take on what will be the next big handbag is being received with mixed reviews. Loyal fashion followers are in swoon-heaven, but will that translate to an actual sale? The "everyday" consumer is responding negatively as the handbags are unrealistic for the investment. As some have commented, the handbags receive an "A" for out of the box thinking but an "F" on wear-ability and result to nothing more than a trend.
