Yesterday, Feb. 17, 2013, the trailer for the second season of the popular web series “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” debuted on the “Machinima” Youtube channel. The first season of “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” was one of the most successful web series of all time, and it looks like director Kevin Tancharoen is pulling out all the stops in season two.
The trailer shows some of the “Mortal Kombat” series’ most popular characters, such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, and Raiden. Casper Van Dien has joined the cast in the role of Johnny Cage, a troubled famous actor who fights alongside Earth’s defenders. Reprising his role as the sorcerer Shang Tsung is Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, who played the character in the 1995 adaptation, “Mortal Kombat”.
No information has been revealed on when this series will debut, but according to the trailer, it’s “Koming Soon”.
