Mortal Kombat gets its third series 'Rebirth'

Today, footage from Warner Bros. long awaited third film of the Mortal Kombat series, called "Mortal Kombat: Rebirth" hit YouTube.

The film consists of this cast line-up:

  • Jacks is played by actor Michael Jai White (Spawn, Undisputed II).
  • Sonya Blade is played by actress Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager).
  • Baraka is played by actor Lateef Crowder (Undisputed III).
  • Scorpion is played by actor Ian Anthony Dale (Tekken).
  • Johnny Cage is played by martial arts expert Matt Mullins.

Below is the test footage, put out by Warner Bros. to generate buzz and help raise funding for the property.

    I hope they can remake make these movies like Christopher Nolan did for Batman.

    You've all been misinformed. This was not put out by Warner Bros. They had nothing to do with it. The director of Fame shot this in 2 days as a pitch to Warner Bros to get them to fund an R-rated version of Mortal Kombat. I hope they like it! I think this version would rip the others' heads off!!
