According to Fox News, it was reported on Feb.27 that Morressey was supposed to appear on the Jimmy Kimmel show on the same night as the gang from Duck Dynasty. However, because the former front man for the Smith's is an animal rights activist and because the Duck Dynasty gang makes and promotes items for duck hunting, Morressey canceled his appearance for the show at the last minute. Apparently, he refused to perform the same night the Duck Dynasty gang would be on the show. He actually called them 'animal serial killers.'
Morressey stated that he could not morally appear or perform on the same show as the Duck Dynasty gang. He also stated that he cannot appear on the same show with 'animal serial killers' as far as his reputation is concerned. He even gave Kimmel an ultimatum to choose between him and the gang from Duck Dynasty. Of course, Kimmel had to make a joke about it and stated that he had to choose the Duck Dynasty gang because they have guns and Morressey doesn't.
The jokes didn't stop there with Kimmel, of course. He had the Duck Dynasty cast do a spoof promoting products for vegans.
