The Morrison Hotel Gallery and Dream Downtown, one of New York City's most alluring hotels known for its inspired partnerships, announces their official partnership with the premiere of a landmark exhibit.
KURT COBAIN by Jesse Frohman is a collection of photographs taken of the late singer and Nirvana, shortly before his death, 20 years ago.
This exhibit of photographs of the last photo shoot Cobain did, pays tribute to him and the impact he had and still had on music and art today.
The exhibit which runs from April 4th until May 6th, marks the second joint venture for the two. Back in September, Morrison Hotel Gallery unveiled a pop gallery in Dream Downtown, gorgeously accenting the hotel's gracefully chic aesthetic with timeless and legendary images.
A must see for music and art fans, these iconic images of Kurt Cobain in his final days are a testament to Grunge and pop culture in the '90s.
The worlds of art, fashion, music and celebrity collide in this distinguished portrait series. These images, taken in 1993 at the Omni Hotel and Roseland Ballroom in NYC and on a street in NYC, have become some of the most sought after pictures of Cobain.
