Yesterday’s win bumped the Lancaster Barnstormers to first place in the Freedom Division! A win tonight will place them first in the League. The Lancaster Barnstormers beat out the Somerset Patriots 2-1 yesterday afternoon. Tonight’s game begins at 7 p.m. game. It is Lancaster Mennonite School Spirit Night, sponsored by Engle Printing. It is also Military Monday. That means all members of the military will be admitted free! You do have to show your Military ID. Military Monday is sponsored by the US Air Force. The Barnstormers are now 6-3.

Knitting can be a relaxing craft. Learn how to knit at the Library! This free session is held every Monday at 6:30 p.m. and is for children and teens. The Library also holds Citizenship Lancaster classes at 6 p.m. every Monday. The sessions are designed to help people become citizens of the US. Registration is required. To register, call the Library at 717-394-2651 ext. 105. The Library is located at 125 North Duke Street.

The Lancaster Butterfly and Entomological Club will meet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight. The meeting will be held in the Kinsey Room of the North Museum.

If you missed Lancaster ArtWalk this past weekend, you can still view the various exhibits at galleries throughout the City. The majority of the galleries are open during the week.

The Sophia Stargazer Boutique will be closed today through Wednesday as they attend some trade shows in New York. The shop will reopen Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Franklin & Marshall College is already prepping for summer courses. Registration is open until 19 May for the first session. Session I runs 3 June to 2 July. The second session will then run 8 July to 6 August with that registration being due 23 June.

Lancaster Public Works will continue to flush the water distribution system through 30 May. The flushing may cause city residents to notice a cloudiness to their water and a drop in water pressure during the flushing. If your water appears cloudy, let it run for a moment. If the problem continues, call the Water Quality Lab at 717-291-4818.
