Morgan Hill Dari-Delite robbed at gunpoint

An armed robbery occurred at a Morgan Hill business this week and police say they are hoping members of the community will be able to identify the suspect.

Morgan Hill police officers responded to the Dari-Delite on Monterey Road at about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday on a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, the officers learned that an unknown man entered the store through a rear door and confronted the shop owner with a black semi-automatic handgun. The suspect demanded money and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen running southbound through the parking lot towards Central Avenue, police say.

The suspect is described as being a black man in his early 20s and approximately 5’8” with a medium build.
