Morgan Berg will represent Boston at the Miss Massachusetts Pageant in June.
She was crowned Miss Boston on Feb. 10 in ceremonies at the Park Plaza Hotel.
The winner of the Miss Massachusetts Pageant will represent her state at the 2013 Miss America Pageant.
Berg describes herself on her blog as a nursing student who is “absolutely passionate about health. I believe a good workout cures everything.”
“All I need is running and a little happiness,” Berg wrote for her Twitter profile.
Among the awards she won at the Boston pageant are a $1,000 academic scholarship, a $2,000 Dale Carnegie Training scholarship, a $1,000 John Robert Powers scholarship, wardrobe from Glitteratistyle.com, a gift certificate from The Crowning Touch and membership in the Boston Sports Club.
"The Miss Boston Scholarship Organization was founded for the purpose of providing scholarships to young women between to ages of 17-24 who compete in the local pageant and go on to the state competition," according to the pageant's website.
