More wrestlers lobby for WWE to induct Arn Anderson into the 2012 HOF

Over the weekend, WWE superstar Randy Orton publicly declared that Arn Anderson should be inducted into the WWE HOF in 2012. Orton praised Anderson for his work and his mentoring of him. On Sunday night, two more of Anderson's former peers Chris Jericho and William Regal also supported this grass roots cause to get Arn in the HOF. Former WWE superstar Chris Jericho made the following comments via his Twitter page:

"YES! Arn should be in the HoF for his personality alone! Funniest dude in wrestling- "look at this swingin di*k""

Obviously, there's a joke here that I do not even want to touch. Jericho worked with Anderson in both WCW and the WWE. Their wrestling brethren William Regal also proclaimed that Anderson deserves to be in the WWE HOF by making the following comments via his Twitter page:

"By the way,I agree with @RandyOrton about AA.Another mentor of mine since I came to America. I don't think that anyone from our generation hasn't learned or laughed with AA."

Regal, who also worked with Arn in WCW and the WWE, shared an example of Anderson's humor: "AA to Mideon - you don't just have the worst body in this business but in any business including marshmallow taster".

Anderson began wrestling in the early 80's but didn't gain notoriety until heading to the Mid-Atlantic territory and teaming up with Ole Anderson to reform the Minnesota Wrecking Crew. By 1985 the Andersons had formed the 4 Horsemen with Ric Flair and Tully Blanchard. Arn would go on to hold numerous titles throughout his career as a singles competitor and a tag-team wrestler. Anderson's career was cut short due to a serious neck injury and other lingering injuries. Anderson officially retired in 1997 and is currently an agent for the WWE.
