Olcott Pirate Festival – Friday through Sunday, July 11th through 13th at Krull Park in Olcott. Features midway rides and games, live entertainment, car show on Saturday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) parade on Saturday (noon), and more. Perry Chalk Art Festival – Saturday, July 12th from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in downtown Perry. Also happening that day: live music, a farmer’s market, the Taste of Summer fine dining event and the Tour de Per-RY bike ride (at Perry Village Park on Lake St.). Find out more at the festival’s website.

Cheektowaga Art Guild Arts and Crafts Show and Family Days – Saturday and Sunday, July 12th and 13th at Cheektowaga Town Park, Harlem Rd. in Cheektowaga. The 50th annual craft show runs both days from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Olde Sanborn Days – Saturday and Sunday, July 12th and 13th on the grounds of the Sanborn Fire Company, Rt. 429 (Ward Rd.) in Sanborn. Featuring an arts and crafts show both days, car show on Sunday, entertainment, petting zoo and more. Free parking and free admission – hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Find out more at
