More victims possible in California artist's molestation case

Edder Giovani Nieves-Vera, 29, is being held for for molesting two teenage girls in his apartment. Nieves-Vera met one victim, a 14-year old girl, online and offered them drugs, alcohol, and free tattoos. The girl then brought along another 14-year old girl to his Mission Viejo, Orange County apartment where he supplied them with alcohol and tattoos.

He then began "acting inappropriately and making sexual advances" towards the girls. The two girls informed the police, who posed as one of the girls and chatted with him online to arrange a meeting to finish their tattoos. He was met by investigators and taken into custody. Police are now investigating if there are other victims of Nieves-Vera.

Nieves-Vera was deported several years ago after serving a three year sentence in 2004 for a child annoyance case in Riverside County, California. It is unknown when he reentered the country.
