More than 24,000 women across the globe sing for educational charity

Did you know? Sweet Adelines International is a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education, competition and performance.

Members of Sweet Adelines International share educational and performance opportunities, fun social activities and an inclusive circle of friends. This January of 2013, experience the joy of singing as choruses unite and open their doors to women everywhere.

What: Thousands of women from different backgrounds and nationalities are joining together in the common goal to teach the world to sing a cappella in the barbershop style. There are more than 24,000 members in the United States, Australia, Canada, England, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Scotland, Sweden, The Netherlands and Wales.

Who: Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to one of the many Sweet Adelines International chorus events during the month of January.
