You might recall that Lindsay Lohan racked up quite a unpaid federal tax bill for 2009 and 2010 ($93,701.57 and $140,203.30, respectively) and now it seems that the third time is the charm. The actress has a similar bill for 2011, it was reported on Monday.
If she wants to point to improvement, LiLo can say that her overdue tax bill was cut by more than half from 2010 to 2011. Her 2011 unpaid income tax bill is $56,717.90. However, considering the fact that the unpaid taxes in question are for the state of California, that means that -- considering the lower state income tax rate -- LiLo left a lot of income unreported.
You might recall that she managed to pay off her 2009 federal tax bill, and a little of her 2010 bill, with the help of Charlie Sheen. She even proved it via scanned documents.
Of course, while LiLo received a $100,000 gift from Sheen to pay those taxes off, she -- somehow -- forgot to thank him. It was only after some on-air prompting -- in other words, complaining -- that Lohan belatedly thanked her "Scary Movie 5" star.
He apparently didn't hold it against her, as he helped her get a designer gown to wear at the amFAR gala in New York City. However, she ripped it -- and it was a loaner.
It's unclear what will happen now, but Sheen had offered to go halfsies on the gown. However, Lohan decided to go the loaner route, and the gown -- $1,750 worth -- is now ruined.
