More Sochi Olympic toilet troubles: Athletes, fans not allowed to flush paper

See also

Olympic athletes arrived in the Russian town to focus on their sport and compete for gold in the Winter Olympics. Athletes at Sochi should be worried about the sporting events and not about the bathrooms. Some fans are suggesting it is a cultural difference, but athletes and fans are being reminded not to flush toilet paper in the bathrooms around town. According to Fansided on Tuesday, the new images of the signs posted in the bathrooms has some people wondering what is the bathroom issue in Sochi.

The sign, posted in several languages, is taped to the wall and reminds everyone not to flush the toilet paper. A shocking reminder that seems unnecessary, the photo of this strange request in front of a perfectly normal looking toilet has gone viral. Once again people around the world are amused by the idea. Of course those folks in Sochi might not be as happy about the rule, but they probably will be kind enough to follow the custom.

This isn't the first toilet issue that the Sochi Olympics has seen and the way things are going it won’t be the last. The sign posted by professional snowboarder Sebastien Toutant offered guidelines on using the toilet and then there was the picture from another stall that offered a toilet with three chairs. Of course the picture everyone remembers from Sochi is the single stall with double toilets.
