With Rumple in Neverland and Belle holding down the fort in Storybrooke, there hasn’t been much shared screen time between these two lovebirds but according to HNGN’s Dec. 5 report, that’s about to change.
Show creator Adam Horowitz recently said that they will both be in the same world for an “extended period of time” during the show’s second half of season 3. However, the comment added by the other show creator Edward Kitsis, has us a little worried. He said, "If you're a fan of 'Rumbelle’, the second half of the season will further explore their relationship - in whatever state that is."
We’re also told that in spite of his efforts to turn over a new leaf, Rumple won’t be completely shedding his old ways anytime soon. He promised to provide something that would allow Prince Charming to remain alive once he left Neverland but that favor will come with a price.
Kitsis reminds us that Rumple seldom does anything for free. He enjoys having people be indebted to him. It gives him a sense of power. Horowitz concurs, adding, "There will be favors that need to be paid."
Tune in for the next episode, “The New Neverland” which will air on “Once Upon a Time” on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. Be sure to stop back here for more news updates and spoilers.
