Staples is the latest company to offer more rewards to its customers. The office supply company will now give reward members five percent back on everything, starting March 15.
As an added bonus, members will also get free shipping on any purchase at Staples.com.
"Our brand new Staples Reward program provides more value than ever and makes it easier for small business customers to get all the products they need to succeed," said Alison Corcoran, Staples' Senior Vice President of Stores and Online Marketing.
The previous program gave 10 percent back on ink, toner, case and ream paper and copy and print services only. Current members are automatically transferred into the new program.
The only exclusions in the new program are taxes, postage stamps, gift cards, delivery charges, coupons, pre-paid phone cards and purchases made on third-party website.
The rewards are issued monthly when the value is $10 or more.
More benefits are planned for Plus and Premier members. Members get upgraded to Plus status when they $500 or more in a calendar year and Premier status when they spend $1,000 or more in a calendar year.
Those who are not members can sign up for free in a store or online at StaplesRewardsCenter.com. Staples sells a variety of products including computers, desks, school supplies and a line of Martha Stewart products.
South Jersey Staples locations include Audubon, Cherry Hill, Delran, Deptford, Marlton, Moorestown, Mt. Holly, West Berlin and West Deptford.
