It looks as if we aren't getting a 100% new and original story for the next "Terminator" film.
According to The Mirror, Arnold Schwarzenegger ("Last Action Hero") will receive $20 million to return for the next trilogy of films, and original stars Linda Hamilton and Michael Biehn will be returning as well.
We don't know anything about the plot outside of the rumor that Dwayne Johnson is wanted to play the Terminator that is sent to the 40s or 50s to assassinate Sarah Connor’s parents, and that Arnold would play a human that protects them and serves as the inspiration for the T-800 (I like this idea A LOT).
Paramount hired Alan Taylor ("Game of Thrones") for his ability to mix extreme action and dynamic story telling.
Only time will tell if all this ends up being true, but I for one am looking forward to more robot vs. human mayhem (keep it R-rated please!).
