A new set of rumored details has been posted for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS exclusive titles, “Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y.” According to a report from The Gamers Hub on March 5, the two role-playing games will introduce a new item called the bond-eye. The sunglasses will let players analyze the nature and capture rate of a wild Pokemon creature. The item can also be used to communicate with other players online, setting up trades and battles. You can check out some screens from both video games in the slideshow at the top of this article.
“Pokemon X” and “Pokemon Y” are part of the sixth generation video games for the “Pokemon” franchise. Just like the previous installments, the upcoming titles are being developed by the Game Freak studio and will be published by Nintendo. The two handheld role-playing games will be released in the North American region sometime later this year exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS portable system.
