More poisoned meatballs found in Boulder County park; reward increased

The reward, to find the culprit who laced rat poison into raw meatballs and left them strewn about a popular park in Boulder County for dogs, has been increased to $4,500 reported the denverchannel.com.

On Sunday two more meatballs were discovered, however authorities believe they were placed the same time as the other eight meatballs found beginning last Monday at the park located on 5150 Buckingham Road.

Three dogs are still recovering from ingesting poison.

Dog owners are being cautioned to watch their dogs carefully for any symptoms of poisoning.
