More people are hopeful by improved job market

Jeremy Blanc is feeling more hopeful these days. He is pleased by the fact that the job market is improving. Blanc is a construction worker and he has struggled to find work in the past two years.

"I really like working outdoors with my hands. But the recession and the lack of construction jobs has made it hard for me to find work. I hope I can get a job in my field construction. We all need to be working and I have heard more jobs are opening up," said Blanc, a resident of Miami.

Raquel Arunson is also encouraged by the improving job market. "I work as an office manager. I like my job but I might start looking for a job that pays more now that more jobs are becoming available," said Arunson, a resident of Miramar.

Ronald Young is hoping more opportunities open up in the restaurant business. "I am a master chef. I have a job but I want a better one. And now I think more jobs will open up in food service," said Young, a resident of North Miami.
