It looks like inappropriate conduct may have done former ‘Young and Restless’ star Michael Muhney (Adam) in.

TMZ reports that Muhney’s exit was due to the actor sexually harassing his co-star Hunter King (Summer). According to TMZ, the actor allegedly ‘bullied’ the 20 year old actress more than once.

Per TMZ, ‘Muhney allegedly bullied and harassed … King…. She went to higher-ups and complained recently Muhney had fondled her breasts on two occasions -- and she said both were unsolicited and unwanted.’

TMZ further reports that the alleged incidents with King ‘broke the camel’s back’ over at ‘The Young and the Restless.’

Muhney will last air January 30. Word is that the show plans to recast the role of Adam Newman and bring the character back later in the year.

At this time neither Muhney nor reps from the CBS soap have released an official statement regarding the situation.

‘The Young and the Restless’ airs weekdays at 12:30pm on Detroit’s local CBS affiliate WWJ.
