More MAC launches and new releases for April

Can you ever really get enough of MAC Cosmetics? Apparently not, and MAC knows this as it continues to release to die for collections and beauty products that are highly coveted even before they become available. For this month, MAC has/will release the following new collections that need to be added to any beauty lovers makeup collection.

First up is the MAC PatentPolish Lip Pencil Collection for Spring 2014. The PatentPolish Lip Pencil is touted as a 'magic wand' for lips by blending creamy emollients for an ultra smooth texture that leaves your lips ultra shiny. Basically it's MAC's version of a chubby. The following 12 shades are now available:

Innocent: Nude beige

Teen Dream: Bright coral orange

Go For Girlie: Bright yellow-pink

Revved Up: Creamy peach

Fearless: Deep blue-pink

Berry Bold: Orange-red

Sultana: Dark grape

Hopelessly Devoted: Bright, clean fuchsia

Spontaneous: Soft plum with pearl

Kittenish: Mauvey pink

Patentpink: Washed-out lilac

Pleasant: Rosy pink

The MAC PatentPolish Lip Pencil costs $20 each.

Released just last week on April 3, MAC released their collaboration collection with Proenza Schouler. The MAC Cosmetics x Proenza Schouler Collection features the following:

Woodrose- A lustre light pinky beige

Pinkfringe- A satin yet vivid flamingo pink

Mangrove- A matte bright orange red

Primrose- A lustre sheer berry plum

Sunset Beach- Pink coral/tan ombre

Ocean City- Vivid orange/tan ombre

Nail Lacquer:

Prices range from $17 for the nail lacquer up to $30 for the blush.

Next is the MAC Studio Sculpt Shade & Line Collection. This collection is all about the eyes. The palette features two eyeshadows and one matte eyeliner that allows you to create three different textured looks (matte, metallic and sparkly) due to the formula's flexibility. The following eight shades and brushes became available yesterday, April 10:

Ebonyblend- White frost/carbon black/dirty blue-grey

Violetblend- Light white-pink/deep violet/iridescent cool pink

Eggplantblend- Soft light pink/deep plum/dirty silver-grey

Roseblend- Dirty washout pink/dirty blue-plum/metallic bright gold

Apricotblend- Champagne beige/dirty berry brown/warm coral peach

Oliveblend- Rich rose-gold/deep olive green/dirty olive

Espressoblend- Rich penny-copper/charcoal black/warm brown

Indigoblend- Soft clean sky blue/deep blue-teal/deep plum

212 Flat Definer Brush

Each palette costs $21 and the brushes are $24 and $25 respectively.

Lastly, MAC releases its sheer yet completely buildable cheek collection that were previously released but are now part of their permanent collection. The MAC Tres Cheek Collection was made available as of April 3 and come in these four shades:

Full of Joy- A frosty lavender

Lovecloud- A satin bright mid-tone pink

Modern Mandarin- A satin red-orange

Peony Petal- A satin bright blue pink

Each one costs $21.
