More living history coming to Fantasy of Flight on March 8 and 9

Fantasy of Flight has a huge collection of historic planes, both fully restored and in the process of being brought back to their original glory. It's also a place where history comes to life at special events like the Legends & Legacies symposium series.

Recently, the series hosted three of the original Tuskegee Airmen who shattered racial barriers as they defended their country during World War II. Now, on March 8 and 9, more living legends will appear at the "Beyond the Battlefield" presentation.

The elite panel will include a member of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), an elite group whose members gained wartime experience that prepared them for a lifetime of leadership once the war was over.

Hear about harrowing experiences and participate in the question and answer session at the open forums on the weekend of March 8 and 9. You can also participate in a meet and greet and autograph signing.

To get an idea of what the symposiums are like, check out this article with a full video of the Tuskegee Airmen presentation.

The symposium is included in the regular Fantasy of Flight admission cost. This attraction is only about half an hour away from the Walt Disney World area on west I-4.
