More jobs are opening up in Florida.

Governor Rick Scott announced that Florida’s private sector created 20,900 jobs over March 2014. Since December 2010, Florida has created an additional 563,900 private sector jobs and Florida’s job growth rate in March 2014 of three percent was the fastest growth rate since June 2006, according to an April 18 statement from the Office of Governor Rick Scott.

In the release Governor Rick Scott was quoted as saying, “March’s job creation number brings more good news for Florida families, this means that more than 20,000 Floridians will be able to provide for their families,” said Governor Rick Scott.

“I am glad more people are getting back to work. This means people will have more money to spend at the restaurant where I work. And I depend on tips,” said Marsha Reddy.

“This is good news. I sell furniture and if more people are working, more people have money to spend at my store,” said Pedro Gonzalez.
