I hope you were able to get out and enjoy the nice weather this weekend because big changes are on the way. Humidity levels are already increasing as moisture from Tropical Storm Sonia in the Eastern Pacific Ocean spreads across the region. Rain chances will begin on Monday as moisture continues to increase in Texas. An upper level storm system, currently in the Western U.S., will cause a cold front to move through the state on Wednesday. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop as the front interacts with a moist and unstable air mass across the area. Average rainfall totals will likely range from .50 inch to 1.5 inches across a large part of Texas. Cool and dry weather returns on Thursday and will likely continue through next weekend.
