More ‘Halo 5’ hints revealed by ‘Halo 4’ developer (Photos)

Frank O’Connor has provided some hints in regards to which direction the next “Halo” video game, which is presumably “Halo 5,” will be taking. According to a report by Digital Trends on Feb. 15, the franchise development director at 343 Industries teased that they will be “a little more adventurous” in the development of their next project. However, the core pillars and principles of the series will also remain intact in "Halo 5." You can check out some screens from the recently-released “Halo 4” in the slideshow at the top of this article and the comments from Frank O’Connor below (courtesy of Digital Trends):

I think you’ll see us being a little more adventurous in the future, but we really believe in those pillars and those principles. They’re still going to be at the heart of the game. You should be able to go from Halo 1… and pick up whatever the next Halo experience is and have a good idea of how to play and have some initial success.

“Halo 5” would be the second game in the new Reclaimer Trilogy for the series. The first title, “Halo 4,” which was developed by Frank O’Connor and the rest of his team at the aforementioned 343 Industries, came out exclusively for the Xbox 360 console in North America on Nov. 6, 2012. “Halo 5” has not yet been officially announced by Microsoft Studios.
