The slate of television and film guests for the 2014 edition of Phoenix Comicon is filling up and includes a couple of fan favorites making their return to Arizona.

Comic book legend Stan Lee and actor/author John Barrowman are returning guests, while actors Nathan Fillion and John Ratzenberger will be making their first appearances at what is billed as “the signature pop culture experience of the southwest.”

Carole Barrowman, who collaborated with her brother on the Torchwood novel Exodus Code, will be joining the growing list of authors in attendance. Author John Scalzi will be making a return appearance this year.

In addition to the guests from the worlds of television/film, comics and books, anime, gaming and costuming/cosplay guests will be in attendance. To view the list of guests for Comicon, click here.

Phoenix Comicon is expected to draw over 65,000 attendees to its June 5-8, 2014 convention. The annual event, now in its 12th year, is held at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency hotel in downtown Phoenix.

Hotel rooms for convention goers at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix and the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel are sold out. Accommodations are still available at Sheraton Downtown, the Westin Hotel, the Hotel Palomar and the Hilton Suites. The Holiday Inn Downtown Phoenix – North and the Radisson Airport hotel are also available, and while they are not within walking distance to the convention center, they are near light rail stations that lead to downtown.
