There was a huge meltdown at Seattle Grace-Mercy West on the last episode. In order to stop the sale of the hospital to Pegasus, the five survivors of the plane crash, including Mark's representative Callie Torres, made he decision to quit their jobs at the hospital. Arizona finally agreed to the plan to buy the hospital after Bailey told her she was thinking of quitting her job at the hospital. The next episode will have the five moving forward with their plans to buy the hospital, and that is shown in the new photos.
With the doctors all resigning their posts, fans may wonder if this means some of the cast is leaving the series. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Shonda Rhimes made it clear that fans won't see any cast departures because of this action. She also teased the following about what is coming up next on the series:
"Cahill has a profound affect on the future of the hospital, where it goes, what happens and how it works. Everybody is in agreement about the fact that they're not thrilled with what Cahill is doing or the outcome of what she wants to do. You're going to see [the five] feel the burden of what they've done. It's not that they weren't right to do it, but there's definitely a sense of resentment that comes from other people because they have this money and the money has now has made everything harder for everyone else."
The five will have to reach out to another investor to make their plans more solid. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
I might disagree with Arizona, but she really needed to tell Derek to stop being such a hero #GreysAnatomy
