Foods is our source of nutrition which fuels our minds and bodies, and gets us through work and play. Many foods have special properties which can help with heart function, central nervous system optimization and immune boosters. There are also foods that can enrich your sexual performance, below are some examples of items you may want to stock up on the next time you head to the supermarket.

Almonds:

Almonds contain fatty acids that assists the brain in processing information and overall working better. Fatty acids are vital in the production of men's hormones. The smell of almonds has been said to arouse passion in females.

Avocados:

Avocados also contain important fatty acids that help the brain and heart. The Aztecs called the avocado tree ahuacatl which means 'testicle tree.' They contain high levels of folic acid, which helps metabolize proteins, giving us more energy. Avocados also contain vitamin B6, a nutrient that increases male hormone production, as well as potassium which assists in the regulation of the thyroid gland in a women. Both of these can increase the libido in the sexes

Oysters:

Oysters, are a classic aphrodisiac, and have been associated with sex since the time of Casanova. Oysters are loaded with zinc, which increases sperm production. Oysters also contain dopamine, a hormone known to increase libido.

Bananas:

Bananas contain the bromelain enzyme, which is believed to increase libido and reverse impotence in men. They are also a good source of potassium and B vitamins which increase the body's overall energy levels.

Chocolate:

Chocolate contains the alkaloid theobromine which is very similar to caffeine and phenylethylamine, a chemical believed to produce the feeling of being in love. Dark chocolate has loads of anti-oxidants, which are great for the body in general, as they help maintain a healthy immune system.
