Inside and outside Las Vegas, all the bats and ghouls are getting ready for another festive fun Halloween season. Here are a few Halloween haunts that may have been previously overlooked. Please take a look through the list and see if there's something appeals to your ghastly sense of fun. All events are child-friendly, although some may be appropriate for older children and their parents.
The Glendale Haunted Corn Maze...
The Glendale Haunted Corn Maze will be open the entire month of October at the Glendale Corn Maze in Moapa, Nevada. There will be two separate mazes this year for the entire family to enjoy lots of fun. The ‘Not Haunted‘ Corn Maze will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 am until 5 pm. The ‘Haunted‘ Corn Maze, for those souls brave enough to stroll through the maze filled with all sorts of goblins and ghosts, will be open Friday and Saturday nights 7:30 pm until 10:30 pm. General admission is $10 and children 6 and under are free. The Trilogy of Terror...
The Trilogy of Terror will be held at the AMC Theatres Rainbow Promenade 10 starting on 9/30/2011 continuing through 10/31/2011. Event times are weekdays 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm, and Friday and Saturday times are 6:30 pm until midnight. Enjoy three frightening haunted houses all on the same property for one stop shopping in fear, including hallways filled with ghouls. Some hallways are so small you will have to crawl to safety! Tots Trick Or Treat Trail provides a safe and creepy trail for kids to show off their Halloween costumes while trick-or-treating in the Whitney Ranch Recreation Center and the Valley View Recreation Center. This event is being held on 10/22/2011 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm at each center. This event is free but a donation of two canned food items will be welcomed. Titantic Haunted Tour...
Titantic Haunted Tour will be held at the Titantic Artifact Exhibit at the Luxor Hotel and Casino. This hour long tour takes place on 10/30/2011 and 10/31/2011, and is free wtih the purchase of admission. Guests will hear about the "Lady in Black" crying for her friend Molly Brown. Guests will be on the watch for the spirit of Frederick Fleet, the Titanic look-out who saw the iceberg-too late and now, forever, watches over the Promenade Deck. Come join the fun on October 31st, 2011 watching all the ghosts, monsters, phantom cars and just funny looking costumes march by at the Las Vegas Halloween Parade. There will be a costume contest for: scariest, best group costume,wildest, funniest, best float, best illuminated costume, best LV theme and the Las Vegas Halloween Parade showgirl icon. Halloween at Sugar Factory
Sugar Factory will sweeten up Halloween for children fighting cancer, as the brand partners with the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation for the third annual year to hold a special “Trick or Treat” event on inside the flagship location inside Paris Las Vegas.
