Buffalo Beer Week – Friday, September 20th through Sunday, September 29th throughout the Buffalo-Niagara area. The event promotes Buffalo’s growing craft beer culture with tastings, specials events and more. MINIfest – Saturday, September 28th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Buffalo Central Terminal, 495 Paderewski Dr. in Buffalo. Features music from the Frankfurters, food and beverages, chalk art, games and more. There is no admission for this family-friendly event, but tours of the Terminal will be available for a fee – get more information at buffalocentralterminal.org.
Paws in the Park - Saturday, September 28th beginning at 11 a.m. at Beaver Island State Park on Grand Island. The SPCA’s longest-running fundraiser, the two-mile walk is followed by a picnic, contests, and more. A complete list of rewards and registration information can be found at www.yourspca.org.
Lewiston Harvest Festival and Craft Show – Saturday and Sunday, September 28th and 29th along Center St. in historic Lewiston from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. The annual festival features crafters,food, live entertainment and a farmer’s market. Find out more at www.niagarariverregion.com.
