More events for February 2013

Winter Break Camp at the Carrousel – Monday through Friday, February 18th through 22nd at the Herschell Carrousel Museum, 180 Thompson St. in North Tonawanda. Camp is broken into two sessions: 9 a.m. to noon for grades K through 2 and 1 to 4 p.m. for grades 3 to 5. Cost is $10 per day or $45 for the week; reservations are required and must be made by February 15th. Find out more at the program at www.carrouselmuseum.org.

Polar Bites – Thursday, February 21st from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, Franklin St. in downtown Buffalo. The annual fundraiser for the Buffalo Zoo is a 21-and-over event featuring some of Western New York’s best restaurants, wineries, breweries and other services. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 at the door; purchase tickets and get more information about the event at www.buffaozoo.org.

Diamond Ball – Saturday, February 23rd beginning at 6 p.m. at Samuel’s Grand Manor, 8750 Main St. in Williamsville. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's premier black tie event features cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, silent auction and much more. Find out more about the event at the LLS website.
