Spring Flower Show – April 5th through 27th at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave. in Buffalo. In addition to beautiful spring flowers, the event features Farmer Brown’s Animals daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., a visit from the Easter Bunny (April 12th, 13th, 18th ad 19th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and the annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday, April 19th at 11 a.m. (pre-registration only – this event often sells out quickly!). SEAster Egg Hunt – Saturday, April 19th at the Aquarium of Niagara, 701 Whirlpool St. in Niagara Falls. The only underwater egg hunt in Western New York happens rain or shine as children search the exhibits for “SEAster” eggs. Find out more at www.aquariumofniagara.org.
Inaugural Cherry Blossom Festival – April 23rd through May 4th at the Japanese Garden in Delaware Park, located behind the Buffalo History Museum. The festival will feature 12 days of entertainment, cultural presentations and activities, most of which will be free and open to the public. Events include a Japanese tea ceremony, Japanese food demonstration and sake tasting, an orienteering event and Family Day at the Buffalo History Museum.
