Inaugural Cherry Blossom Festival –through May 4th at the Japanese Garden in Delaware Park, located behind the Buffalo History Museum. The festival will feature entertainment, cultural presentations and activities, most of which will be free and open to the public. Events include a Japanese tea ceremony, Japanese food demonstration and sake tasting, an orienteering event and Family Day at the Buffalo History Museum. Keuka in Bloom – Saturday and Sunday, May 3rd and 4th at participating wineries on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. At each winery, receive both a flower plant and an herb plant, ready for planting – a total of 14 plants. Get all the information and tickets at www.keukawinetrail.com.
Historic Linwood Tour of Homes – Sunday, May 4th from noon to 5 p.m. on Linwood Ave. in Buffalo. Check out 10 “architecturally significant” properties, many of which have undergone or are going through extensive restoration, showcasing this “Streetscape of History.” Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 the day of the tour; tickets and guidebooks can be picked up the day of the event at Artists Group Gallery at 1 Linwood Ave. Find out more here.
