Power Vista Festival of Trees – now through January 4th, 2014 at the Niagara Power Vista, 5777 Lewiston Rd. in Lewiston. Part of the “Holiday Lights of Niagara Trail,” the Festival of Trees features artificial evergreens and energy-efficient lights, with the trees decorated by local non-for-profit groups. Breakfast with Santa – Saturday and Sunday, December 21st and 22nd at the Buffalo Zoo, 300 Parkside Ave. in Buffalo. It WAS A Wonderful Life! – Saturday and Sunday, December 21st and 22nd at 2 p.m. each day at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1411 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo. This year’s performance is written and directed by Joseph Demerly and will be narrated by “John Lay,” the first person to be interred in Forest Lawn in 1850.
