More Downtown Pictures For Your Research and Enjoyment! (Photos)

Today I'm taking it a little easy and posting some pictures I took of Downtown Savannah for everybody to enjoy. Keep in mind that it's still Winter here, so while the grass and flowers haven't decided to come out of their winter slumbers yet, the town still looks great. With school at SCAD back in session, new sports leagues are starting up again and people are out jogging and enjoying the not-so-warm but not-so-cold weather as well.

Taking a walk around Downtown on a weekend means you can enjoy some coffee at one of the many coffee shops in the city, or enjoy stroll around Forsythe Park, where it also appears that they've cleaned up the fountain a bit in preparation for St Patrick's Day. The great thing about so many of the neighborhoods here in Savannah is that you're just a short drive from all of Downtown's attractions, so if you have nothing to do, it's as quick as putting some comfortable walking clothes on and making the trip.

If you can swing it, I greatly encourage everybody to come see St Patrick's Day in March as you can see Downtown Savannah at its liveliest. Not just for drinkers (though they find lots to do here as well), you can take your families to enjoy the parade, various streetside snacks and Irish-themed gifts, and as always, everything you can think of will be sold in a shade of green. One of the coolest things they do (in my opinion) for St Patrick's Day here is dye the fountain in Forsythe Park green, and they also dye the entire Savannah River green!

Enjoy the various Downtown Savannah pictures I took, and as always I'll continue to post more blogs every week. I'm going to do a special article for St Patrick's Day as well, so be sure to check back and subscribe to stay in the loop!
