After years of trailing Marvel in live-adaptations of their properties, when DC comics decides to do something they do it in bulk. Fresh off Fox green lighting the Gotham series, it was announced today that the CW will pick up two more DC properties for full seasons in the form of Flash and iZombie.

After debuting in the fellow DC hero and popular origin show Arrow, Flash will continue the story of Barry Allen as he grows into his role as the scarlet speedster, protector of Central City. iZombie is a Vertigo title which showcases a zombie scenario not common among an array of zombie stories. The comic follows a zombie girl who physically can live among the living, but is required to feast on brains of the deceased to stay alive making her a gravedigger.

These shows will be joined by Ronin, the Frank Miller Vertigo property that will be adapted into a short-series by the NBC run Syfy channel.

Are you excited about the recent excess shows based off of DC properties? Which one are you looking forward to the most?
