More Daytona Bike Week in words and photos

That Friggs is a real mixer and he touched in with numerous groups at Daytona in the last couple days, recording interviews and doing a lot of the talking himself. Of course, he and they were all in Daytona Beach for Daytona Bike Week, which just yesterday ended its 70th run.

Speaking with John of Lee Country, who came on his Kawasaki 1400 Ninja, John said he came every year for "the new bikes, demos, and stuff." He likes to see "all the gear and stuff and the racing and stuff and everything."

Otis arrived on his 1700 Yamaha. Asked Friggs, "What do you like, without putting words in your mouth: Races? Kiosks? Bikini contests?

"Bikini contests," Otis laughed.

"Here, I've got those listed if you want to know where they're at," replied Friggs.

"No, that's all right. My wife would kill me," Otis demurred.

"Oh, well here, I've got sunglasses. You could wear sunglasses," Friggs coaxed.

And then there was Travis, on his BMW F1000.

"I wanted to see some of the races and some of the new products."

"Having a good time?" asked Friggs.

"I am, I am."

And so, it appears, did everyone else. Heck, the event wouldn't have made it 70 years if no one enjoyed themselves.
