More contract problems between TNA and wrestlers; Update on RVD

Over the last few weeks, TNA has come under the microscope for their mishandling of Robert Roode's contract situation. Not only did they let it expire, but there were rumored reports of issues in the negotiations. Now we come to learn that two more TNA stars have also experienced similar contractual problems. According to a March 14 report by PWInsider.com, RVD's contract expired last week and the two sides are discussing contractual options.

RVD was the X-Division champion for over four months. He lost the title on the February 28 episode of Impact. TNA is being questioned by fans and critics as to whether or not they actually knew that RVD's contract was expiring. If yes, then critics want to know why they would allow the contract to expire without already hashing out a new contract.

TNA superstar Hulk Hogan made some surprising comments in his efforts to defend TNA's oversight with Roode's contract. According to a March 14 report by WrestlingInc.com, Hogan made the following comments in an interview with Busted Open Radio:

"I was here last year, I was working at a PPV and my contract had run out. I didn't know it. Dixie didn't know it. We weren't worried about it."

For a company that's trying to grow and build a global brand, not knowing when your top talent's contract expires is definitely bad for business. With the company committing to taking their weekly Impact TV show on the road (starting on today), overhauling their PR department, and changing the wrestler's pay schedule, there's definitely some concern with TNA right now.
