During the great recession, many people in the construction industry struggled to find jobs. But now, as the demand for housing rebounds, more homes are being built and more people are being hired to build them.
"I received two offers to work on homes in the Miami area. Things are picking up and I now have plenty of work," said Guy Ortega.
"Things are really good right now in the construction industry. I have received an offer to work as a brick layer. I am now making good money," said Richard Holbrooke.
"As more people buy homes, I am seeing more opportunities to work," said Clay Bronson, a carpenter.
