More charges have been filed on a LaGrange man in connection with missing Rome teen.
Tracy Bernard McLemore, 44, is now in custody at the Floyd County jail and facing more charges after authorities located a missing 15-year-old Rome girl at his home in LaGrange.
The teen went missing Wednesday morning when she left her residence to go to school. It was soon discovered that she took all of her clothing with her when she left. Authorities believed that the teen was in danger and the Rome Police Department posted notices to alert the public to be on the lookout for the teen.
Troup County police located the missing teen Thursday at 1435 Hamilton Road Lot 16 in Lagrange; the home of McLemore. McLemore was convicted of sodomy in 2005 and has been on the Georgia Sex Offender Registry since 2009.
McLemore is now facing charges of child molestation, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, interference with custody and enticing a child for indecent purposes and remains in the Floyd County Jail with no bond.
