Blues & Brews – Friday, March 21st from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Ellicott Square Building, 295 Main St. in downtown Buffalo. This fundraiser for the Kevin Guest House features music from “Chicago” Jack Civiletto and Win Lose or Draw with special guests Lynne Fredericks and April Mazzone. Maple Weekend – Saturday and Sunday, March 22nd and 23rd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at numerous maple producers throughout New York State, including the Maple Glen Sugar House, 2266 Gowanda Zoar Rd. in Gowanda and Smith’s Maple Farm, 5257 Mayer Rd. in Hamburg. Sundays in the Cemetery – every Sunday through April at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1411 Delaware Ave. in Buffalo. This Sunday’s lecture is “Returning the Forest to Forest Lawn” on March 23rd.
