Fans are exicted that Booth and Brennan are returning to FOX January 14, 2013 with two hours filled of crime solving drama, relationship intrigue, and forensic smorgabord. The first hour the team investigates a death in a dance studio and hour two the team develos the death of an archeologist. Spoiler TV released new details on the synopsis of these two episodes January 2, 2013 - the highlights can be viewed below.
The first episode is titled "The Doll in the Derby" and the funny video preview of this episode can be viewed here. While the team uses forensic science to uncover how a professional ballroom dancer who was murdered only days before her big break audition on a very popular dance competition television show. What makes this episode so "bones- esque" is that Booth and Brennan enter competition in an undercover capacity to find potential suspects. Booth and Brennan have very "different" dance skill levels and thanks to the spoilers we know Booth put himself through college dancing - so the one dance - challenged is going to be Brennan.
In hour number two the team will investigate the muder of a "well-known" archaeologist with a not so great reputation. His death came on the eve of a discovery that would have possibly defined his career. This episode is titled, what else "The Diamond in the Rough/The Archaeologist in the Cocoon". More season spoilers (which can be viewed here) reveal that Sweets and Daisy will be forced to work together on a case that will allow some relationship drama/discussion - one guesses this may be the episode to do it.
