More Bella, Edward & Jacob: Twilight Breaking Dawn 1 Extended Edition announced (Video)

Twilight fans who thought they had seen the last of Edward Cullen, Bella Swan and Jacob Black will be ecstatic to know that they will soon have the chance to see eight new minutes of footage of vampires, werewolves and the apparently few human residents of Forks when "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 Extended Edition" comes to Blu-ray Disc and DVD.

These new, extended "Twilight" scenes, just announced on Jan 7, have been added back into the film by Director Bill Condon and feature Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Peter Facinelli.

.“As Twilight series devotees know, there was a lot of ground to cover in adapting 'Breaking Dawn' to the screen,” said Condon. “Between the wedding, the honeymoon, the birth, and everything in between, naturally there were things that didn’t make it into our final cut. But I wanted to make sure that for all the Twihards out there, there was a chance to see some of these cut scenes – several of which are fan favorites from the book.”

"Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1" covers the marriage and honeymoon of Bella and Edward Cullen and brings the story to the birth of their baby Renesmee, all of which brings new complications with werewolf Jacob Black. Almost all the former "Twilight" cast members return for the wedding. The movie has strong abstinence and pro-life themes.
.
The "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1" film achieved $281.3 million in U.S. box office sales after its release on November 18, 2011. Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 was released on November 16, 2012 and has already grossed over $800 million worldwide.
