Moore-Towers, who finished fourth in pairs figure skating with partner Dylan Moscovitch of Toronto, Ontario at the 2013 World Figure Skating Championships in London, will be making her Olympic debut at the age of 21.

Moore-Towers placed in first place on a list that also included cross-country skier Alex Harvey of Saint-Ferreol, Quebec, snowboarder Kimiko Zakreski of St. Albert, Alberta, Montreal Canadiens hockey player P.K. Subban of Toronto, Ontario and ski cross racer Kelsey Serwa of Kelowna, British Columbia.

Moore-Towers and Moscovitch could be used as Canada's representatives in the team event which will be making its debut at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. If they do compete in this event, they have an excellent chance of winning an Olympic gold medal.
