Moon sign astrology brings a flow into everyday life

The practice of following moonsigns has been around for a very long time. The way it works gauges corresponding activities that harmonize energies of specific astrology signs with daily life. Since the moon's orbit is so close to earth, each and everyday holds a different atmosphere, or emotional climate. Along with a study of general astrology, the moon information presented here encompasses twenty some years of personal observation.

Almanac readers, Amish folks, and elderly farmers have knowledge of moonsign astrology. Some only know it by the astrological, physical correspondences. For example, Pisces is known as the “feet,” Gemini is known as the “arms,” and so on. When the moon is in “the feet,” it’s a good time to water, fertilize, or transplant for example.

Other intuitive observations indicate that instinctive people just naturally pick up on the energy of the day. When it’s best to weed and cut grass to decrease growth, driving past people working in their yards shows many folks are practicing the best activity for that moon phase, and moonsign – mowing. The same action goes to planting during an early moon phase activity, and so forth.

The general astrological sentiment of practicing astrologers minimizes the importance of the daily changes of the moon, but some believe the effect is underestimated. Because the moon is earth’s closest celestial body, the lunar effect is prominent in day to day life.

Observing the rapid changes of the moon’s position, life is experienced with a day by day approach and a sense living life at its fullest.

The moon phases affect human energy, too. In general, the times of feeling most energetic are during the new moon phases. Conversely, when the full moon starts to diminish, energy levels decrease in response. The moon is like an interpreter of the sun. A full moon transfers the most solar energy, and brings the unpredictable. In the new and first phases, growth is encouraged. During the last phase, the lunar crescent lessens to a thin curved slice of light, transitioning to no visibility and very dark nights.

That said, everyday life is improved with this one little observance of the moon. Days go on the same at the office, or with keeping a home, and other life activities, and grasping the feel of the day is a way to achieve harmony with the universe.

Since the moon and her phases are so constant, many observations apply to daily life. For office pools or occupations that involve numbers of people, anticipating the general surrounding mood of coworkers is helpful. A policeman may foresee an extra busy watch by simply viewing the moon phases, and keeping track of the full moon. An emergency room doctor can do the same. Following the moonsigns is a way to achieve harmony and a certain flow in life.
