It has been proven that skating sports facilities that include more than one skating surface have happier customers since more ice time means that more opportunities to skate are available, and experienced figure skaters and ice hockey players and those interested in learning to skate will now find it easier than ever to ice skate in the Colorado Springs area.
Colorado Sports Center in Monument, Colorado has added a second ice surface to its facility. The second sheet of ice will now give figure skaters in Colorado Springs and those living in surrounding areas additional training opportunities and also allow more ice hockey to go on in town. In addition, group and private lessons taught by experienced and highly qualified skating coaches is available in Monument.
Public skating sessions, figure skating programs, and ice hockey programs also continue to be offered at the Colorado Springs World Arena Ice Hall, Sertich Ice Center, and at Honnen Ice Rink at Colorado College. In addition, the Cadet Arena on the Air Force Academy grounds, is now open to the public.
