For small town charm and antiques galore, head to the 13th Annual Antiques Festival, May 5th and 6th, in Montgomery, Texas. Tickets are only $5 and will get you admission both days. Antique dealers from all over Texas fill 40 plus booths with wares ranging from furniture and jewelry, to floral English trays and knick-knacks. Live music and concessions are available as well.
If you can’t make it to Montgomery on Festival weekend, you can still shop in Montgomery’s antique shops, pick up a pair of country chic cowboy boots from Rhinestone Cowgirl Boutique, or sip a glass of wine from Cork This.
Montgomery is an antique itself, on the Texas scene since the early 1800s, and is considered the birthplace of the official Texas state flag.
Make plans and get away to charming Montgomery for the ‘Best Place for Antiques in Montgomery County.’
