For small town charm and antiques galore, head to the 13th Annual Antiques Festival, May 5th and 6th, in Montgomery, Texas. Tickets are only $5 and will get you admission both days. Antique dealers from all over Texas fill 40 plus booths with wares ranging from furniture and jewelry, to floral English trays and knick-knacks. Live music and concessions are available as well.

If you can’t make it to Montgomery on Festival weekend, you can still shop in Montgomery’s antique shops, pick up a pair of country chic cowboy boots from Rhinestone Cowgirl Boutique, or sip a glass of wine from Cork This.

Montgomery is an antique itself, on the Texas scene since the early 1800s, and is considered the birthplace of the official Texas state flag.
